I just got a job in Business Intelligence and the hiring people told me that the Data Analytics course I included in my resume had a lot to do with their decision to hire me. I'm getting paid 50% more of what I used to make.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take to finish the course?

On average, people finish the Data Analytics Certificate Course within 4 to 6 weeks. The average person spends about 20-60 minutes on the course at a time, a few times per week. This is a completely self-paced course, so you get to decide when you start and when you finish.

On average, people finish the How to Land the Job course within 1 to 2 weeks.

How long will I have access to the course?

Our courses come with lifetime access. After enrolling, you’ll have unlimited access to the entire course.

You can speed through it or take as long as you need, and you’ll always be able to look back to refresh on concepts even once you’re on the job.

Will this work for me?

Our courses are designed to help anyone break into tech with no experience. That means enabling you to get your first tech job, even if you have no degree and no relevant experience.

Our data analytics course doesn’t just teach you the skills, it also gives you a portfolio so you can prove that you have the skills. That’s your secret weapon when switching from a different kind of job.

Learning new skills online and applying to new jobs can work for anyone, whether you have experience and degrees or not. For examples of real people who became data analysts after our courses, check out our Reviews.

What if I don't have any experience or degree?

Our comprehensive courses are designed for complete beginners, and we walk through everything you need to know. Countless students have landed Data Analytics jobs with no degree and no previous experience.

Recruiters and hiring managers want to hire someone who can do the job. Our Data Analytics Certificate Course equips you with a portfolio full of real projects so you can prove that you can do the job.

What do I need to get started?

Data Analytics Certificate Course

You will need a computer (Windows or Mac) and access to the internet. You'll download real data analytics software during the course that will not run on a tablet, phone, or Chromebook.

If you have an older Windows or Mac that can be updated to a recently released operating system, it will work. If your computer is too old to be updated, it might not work. To double check if your computer will work, you can view the technical specs required for the software we’ll download:

How to Land the Job Course

This course can be done from any device with internet access, however, it is easier from a computer.

Do you offer refunds?

We stand by the quality of our courses and have seen enough success from our students that we’re confident that anyone who puts in the effort can learn the skills and land a job. We do not offer refunds, so please make sure you're determined to do the necessary work before making the investment.

Will data analytics be automated by AI?

Data analysts use AI to make our jobs easier, just like how we use software for writing SQL and creating visualizations.

Data Analytics isn't at risk of being automated - but a data analyst who can't use AI will be replaced by one who can. You'll learn how to do this with guided practice in our Data Analytics Certificate Course.

Is the course a subscription? Will I be charged more than once?

You can pay in full or choose a payment plan option at checkout. Either way, you receive lifetime access to the course.

Is Data Analytics saturated?

Data analytics is the #1 technology expected to drive the most job creation in the next five years (World Economic Forum, Future of Jobs Report 2023).

There are currently over 170,000 open data analyst roles in the US alone. And the demand is only growing larger:

The US Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that the demand for data analytics jobs is expected to grow by 23% through 2031 (compared to just 5% in any other industry).

Data analytics is also ranked by the World Economic Forum as the #1 job with the most increasing demand in the entire world.

It’s a great time to get into Data Analytics, and the demand just keeps getting higher as AI creates more data for us to analyze.

What about tech layoffs?

Tech layoffs aren't an issue for people first breaking into tech for a few reasons:

1. You won’t be competing for jobs with people who were laid off. Someone who was laid off after 3 years at Twitter isn’t applying to entry level jobs.

2. We encourage our students to apply to tech jobs at non-tech companies. Non-tech companies in the Fortune 500 are the companies with the most revenue and have been around for decades. They don’t do mass layoffs like big tech companies. This is why so many graduates of this course end up at places like Home Depot, Walmart, Comcast, etc. They’re huge, profitable companies that are constantly hiring data analysts, but they aren’t “big tech” companies.

What is your success rate?

Our courses are 100% self-paced and self-guided with no requirement to reach out to us when you land a job.

Many people do choose to reach out to us to celebrate their success. We get messages from students in our Discord, on LinkedIn, and even on TikTok and Instagram letting us know that they’ve landed a job after our courses. We stopped counting once 100 people told us they’ve landed a job, which was just months after we first launched in February 2023.

It’s impossible to guarantee that everyone will land a job because it depends on the individual. We stand by the quality of our courses and have seen enough success from our students that we’re confident anyone who puts in the effort can learn the skills we teach and land a job.

Check out our Reviews to hear from real people who took our courses, including bartenders, stay at home moms, customer service reps, teachers, bank tellers, and more.

Why Data Analytics? What is Data Analytics?

Data analysts are translators: they take large amounts of data and turn it into something that anyone can easily understand.

Every big company has so much data these days that it doesn’t fit into Excel spreadsheets, so they use databases to store it. To access a database, you need to use SQL – that’s the language that databases (and data analysts!) speak.

Data analysts also use SQL to make changes to that data, like taking the sum or average of it. Then, a data analyst will take that data and turn it into visualizations like charts and graphs so it’s easier for others to understand.

But don't worry, we use software and AI to do the dirty work for us (no mental math or calculators needed). We'll walk you through it step by step with guided practice.

Why is Break Into Tech better than a data analytics bootcamp?

Bootcamps range from $10,000 to $30,000 and take an average of 6 months to complete. They charge that much and take that long as a psychological marketing tactic to make you think you’ll be getting more value.

Here at Break Into Tech, we believe in doing things more efficiently and accessibly. We cut out the fluff and give you just what you need to land your first data analytics job so that it only takes 4-6 weeks on average to get your certificate, and you don’t have to go into debt to learn a new skill.

We’ve done away with long lectures about the history of data. Our data analytics course is project-based, so you create a portfolio as you learn, and you walk away from the course with tangible evidence of your data analysis skills to prove to recruiters and hiring managers that you’re ready for a job.

All the step-by-step guidance of a data analytics bootcamp with none of the fluff, you save at least $10k (and months of your life) by doing it the more efficient way, and you walk away with a real portfolio.
